How long after your c-section did you bleed for?

my flo can go from nothing to ping sudden clots (they are not that big) to a regular flo like a period i am 11 days after my c-section and feeling good i don't pain meds any more and i was able to do laundry and change sheets and stuff today so i am feeling better everyday. i'm just a little concerned when i go from no flo to something very fast is that normal my mother who had 3 three c-section says it's normal i'm just wondering is this normal for everyone else too and who long did this last for you?
