I have a pair of dwarf gouramis . The female eats alot while the male barely eats. Is something wrong?

IN a 15 gallon setup for 1 week, The female dwarf gourami eats any time i give them food ( tetra colour flakes) and so does my zebra danios and the cory cats...but the male gourami never even takes an interest in the food..what can i do? or is something wrong?
