What do you talk to people and friends about. i am a teen?

i am not a social er fly but now iwant to start speaking up. i also have this boy in our cl how i am determined to go out with. also he actually spoke to me today but usually hes doesnt know i exist but i want to start talking to him little by litte and how do i start talking to people and about what topics.
